Katherine Trewitt is inspired by the natural world around her. For over 30 years, she has tended a collection of plants and flowers which she carefully dis-assembles, processes and lovingly reconstructs into one-of-a-kind creations. These are then scanned at high resolution to capture their complexity and dynamic color. Her process, developed over many years, produce the translucent effect you see in most of these designs.

Her floral creations, prints and greeting cards have been featured at the Dallas Arboretum Store and the Corner Market Florist.
In 2008, her "Spring Frenzy" collage won 2nd place in the Friends of Lakewood Library Artists’ Show, Dallas, Texas.

Now, late in the 3rd Act of her life, Katherine continues with her ability to capture the wonders of nature and shares these gifts with the internet audience.
